Matt Mitrione's eye was a sight to behold following his third-round (technical) knockout loss at the hands of No. 6-ranked UFC Heavyweight contender Travis Browne.
"Meathead's" main card collision with "Hapa" at the UFC Fight Night 81 event this past Sunday night (Jan. 17, 2016) resulted in a broken orbital bone (pic here) for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 10 veteran, which will require surgery to repair, according to Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting.
Broken orbital bones require some serious time on the sidelines, which definitely can't be how the 37-year-old Mitrione planned on entering free agency.
