UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones may have rendered a positive post-fight drug test after UFC 232, but he will not be sanctioned, per the California State Athletic Commission. This had left a bad taste in people’s mouths, one of them being UFC welterweight contender Matt Brown.
“Like I tweeted out, it was very disgusting to me the way that went down,” Brown told reporters backstage at Bellator 214 over the weekend. “Apparently, he tested positive again, right? So we have another positive test.”
Jones’ most recent drug test woes had put the UFC and the CSAC in a bad light, especially after UFC 232 arranged to be moved from Las Vegas to California during fight week late last month.
