Two of the best European prospects are going to clash at Cage Warriors Fighting Championship as part of "The Trilogy”, the trio of consecutive events the British promotion has planned for its September return.
On Monday morning, Cage Warriors announced that current lightweight champion Mason Jones will face Adam Proctor for the vacant welterweight championship at the upcoming CW 116 event.
After several dominant performances, the unbeaten Jones (9-0) is gaining a reputation for himself on the European regional scene. Last time he stepped in the cage, "The Dragon" won the vacant lightweight championship at the expense of Joe McColgan via first-round TKO.
