Since entering the promotion nine years ago, the Italian middleweight racked up a 9-5-1 record, four performance bonuses and challenged for the title off the back of a five-fight win streak. He has even taken two years away from competition following a particularly grueling bout against Jared Cannonier in 2023 followed by an injury that kept him out of action in 2024.
