Ronda Rousey continues to ripple across the pop culture ecosphere. She's made the Hollywood rounds with brief appearances in Sylvestor Stallone's Expendables films, and she'll be seen playing Patrick Swayze's Road House character in the near future. Now the President of Marvel Studios himself, Kevin Feige, recently responded to Rousey's quiet campaign to be Captain Marvel in a brief exchange with IGN.
"I love it," he said of the campaign. "That happens occasionally, and I think that's a testament more to the strength of the characters."
As for Rousey's chances to land the role, the Marvel boss didn't shut the door on it.
