ONE Championship announced the main event attraction to the already-stacked “Dawn of Heroes” show on Aug. 2, revealing that Martin Nguyen will put his featherweight belt on the line versus Koyomi Matsushima.
The fight card will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines, and includes previously announced bouts featuring former UFC champions Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez against Tatsumitsu Wada and Eduard Folayang, respectively.
Nguyen (12-3), who once was a double champion in ONE and even attempted to hold titles in three titles simultaneously, finished Narantungalag Jadambaa in the second round in his last appearance in April.
