Marlon Moraes makes UFC debut in June against Assuncao

Highly-regarded former World Series of Fighting bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes will get a home game in his UFC debut, as he faces No. 3-ranked contender Raphael Assuncao at UFC 212 on Jun. 3

Also made official for the UFC 212 event is a strawweight matchup between Viviane Pereira and Jamie Moyle.

In the main event of UFC 212, which airs live on Pay-Per-View from Jeunesse Arena, Jose Aldo meets Max Holloway for the undisputed UFC featherweight championship.

A native of Nova Friburgo who has become a familiar name to UFC fans for his work with current Octagon stars Frankie Edgar, Edson Barboza and Eddie Alvarez, Moraes dominated in the WSOF promotion, going 11-0 with seven finishes while successfully defending his 135-pound crown five times.
