There are few more outspoken in the sport of MMA than Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight Mark Hunt when it comes to fighters taking banned substances.
The Sydney, Australia-based New Zealander has been critical in the past of fighters who have taken performance-enhancing drugs in MMA particularly a former opponent of his in World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Brock Lesnar who beat Hunt back in 2016 at UFC 200 by unanimous decision before the decision was overturned after Lesnar tested positive for clomiphene.
Hunt has even filed a lawsuit against the UFC regarding the incident and so it was no surprise to hear Hunt’s thoughts on another of his former opponents and former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum who this week received a two-year suspension by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
