Marijuana offender Francisco Trevino among the latest group of fighters cut by the UFC

The lightweight fighter was cut by the UFC this week after what now has become an infamous UFC 192, Trevino confirmed Monday on Twitter. Trevino missed weight by four pounds, fell by first-round TKO against Sage Northcutt, pushed referee Herb Dean to dispute the stoppage and then, a week later, found out he failed a drug test for marijuana.

Trevino (12-2) won his UFC debut against Renee Forte at UFC 171 last year, but then lost his last two. The Texas native will serve a 90-day suspension for failing the drug test and is facing a fine of up to $5,000.
