Marcos Rogerio de Lima removed from UFC: Rotterdam after potential USADA violation

The UFC has announced that Brazilian light heavyweight Marcos Rogerio de Lima has been removed from his upcoming bout at UFC Fight Night 115. He was originally supposed to take on Saparbek Safavov in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.

The reason for the removal was said to be a potential violation of the USADA’s Anti-Doping Policy, stemming from an out-of-competition drug test that was taken on August 1.

The UFC is currently looking for a replacement while USADA handles Lima’s case.

De Lima is a TUF Brazil 3 veteran who has gathered a 4-3 record in the Octagon, with wins over the likes of Richardson Moreira, Igor Pokrajac, Clint Hester and Jeremy Kimball.
