Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt isn’t running out of opponent options. With the help of his manager Ali Abdelaziz, “No Love” may be looking at a high-profile name for his next fight.
Speaking to MMA Junkie on behalf of Garbrandt, Abdelaziz made it clear that they are still chasing after the flyweight title. But if that doesn’t pan out soon, he wants former longtime featherweight champion Jose Aldo instead.
“I’m interested in Cody Garbrandt vs. Jose Aldo at 135 pounds. If the flyweight champ is available, 100 percent Cody is the No. 1 contender,” he said.
