Hours before Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo entered the Octagon to battle the for undisputed UFC featherweight championship in Las Vegas, heavyweight kingpin Fabricio Werdum told the media at the MGM Grand Garden Arena that "The Notorious’" team reached out to Rafael Cordeiro to train at Kings MMA for a few days.
"Conor McGregor wanted to train with us there," Werdum said in a media scrum. "No way. Imagine us against Jose Aldo, our friend? We're 100 percent with Aldo, the entire Kings MMA. There was a moment when someone said 'Well, Conor wants to train with you'.
