UFC women’s featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie has yet to defend the title she won vs. Holly Holm back in February. It’s been assumed that Cris Cyborg would be her next opponent, given she’s the biggest star in that division and literally the only other women’s 145er on the UFC roster.
In a statement released to MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani on Friday, de Randamie’s manager Brian Butler explained their stance on not fighting the Brazilian.
“Germaine and her team have talked, and the position is that she will not fight Cyborg because Cyborg is a known and proven cheater.
