Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will be cageside for UFC 189, and he plans on facing the winner of Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor or else.
Edgar most recently dispatched former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber by unanimous decision to cap off a four fight win streak while maintaining his ranking as one of the top contenders at 145 pounds.
The New Jersey native believed he should have earned a title shot following his last win over Cub Swanson, but Irish superstar Conor McGregor got the call instead.
