UFC legend Anderson Silva turned 44-years-old last month, but the former middleweight king still has plenty of gas left in the tank.
That’s according to his manager, Jorge Guimaraes, who told ESPN Brazil’s Igor Resende that ‘The Spider’ isn’t even close to retirement, claiming that the 44-fight MMA veteran is in the best shape of his life right now.
“Absolutely not [close to retirement],” Guimaraes told said. “He’s still got plenty of firewood to burn. He has a very high IQ and knows how to train well. Age is just a number. He never did [recreational] drugs and never drank.
