Makwan Amirkhani will return to the Octagon 12 months after getting back to his winning ways in Liverpool against Jason Knight when he takes on former Cage Warriors lightweight champion Chris Fishgold at UFC Stockholm on June 1.
UFC announced the fights via social media Monday.
Amirkhani (14-3-0) is currently 4-1 under the UFC banner since making his debut with an eight-second knockout of Andy Ogle in early 2015. After claiming victory over Ogle in his maiden voyage, “Mr. Finland” went on to stop Masio Fullen and took a decision win over Mike Wilkinson before being edged out by Arnold Allen, marking his first promotional defeat at UFC London in 2017.
