The main event saw Ismailov (16-2-1) stepping up two weight divisions to face longtime MMA veteran Emelianenko (28-8-1). At the weigh-ins, Emelianenko came in 49 pounds heavier than his opponent, but it turned out that the weight was not a factor at all. Ismailov revealed his game plan shortly after the beginning of the battle.
