Macy Chiasson has revealed the injury that forced her out of the UFC Vegas 32 co-main event.
The bantamweight contender was scheduled to fight Aspen Ladd on Saturday, but the UFC announced Thursday that the bout was cancelled due to an injury. MMA Fighting confirmed with sources that it was Chiasson who suffered the injury and the fighter has now elaborated on that news via Instagram.
Chiasson, the no. 9 bantamweight in MMA Fighting’s Global Rankings, explained that she had a “stress fracture” in her foot that was re-injured during a workout this week.
