Voluntary medical advisory organisation, Safe MMA, welcomes MACTO Championships as a member.
British promotion, MACTO, has pledged that its launch event at ArenaMK in Milton Keynes on 27th June will operate according to Safe MMA medical guidelines. This includes the presence of a doctor to carry out pre and post fight medical examinations for all competing athletes, and a commitment to submitting medical results and suspensions to Safe MMA.
Safe MMA will also sanction all professional MMA bouts on the card, for which athletes need to be cleared to compete in advance by Safe MMA doctors, following an annual medical examination and blood tests.
