The UFC seems to understand it has a potential future star on its hands in Mackenzie Dern.
Dern will make her UFC debut on March 3 at UFC 222 in Las Vegas against Ashley Yoder, a bout first reported by MMA Fighting.
On Wednesday, UFC president Dana White indicated on the FS1 show UFC Tonight that the phenom’s fight would be the featured bout on the FS1 portion of the card.
Dern is one of the most decorated women in jiu-jitsu history, with three World Cup gold medals, two World Jiu Jitsu Championship golds, and one gold at the ADCC.
