For the first time in his UFC career, Lyoto Machida’s future as a legitimate contender doesn’t look very promising since the former light heavyweight champion suffered a second-round, submission-loss to Luke Rockhold in April.
But before Machida is written-off as a respected contender and limited to a life of legacy-building bouts, the UFC has given ”The Dragon” another chance to reignite his career with a co-main event matchup against sixth-ranked Yoel Romero at ”The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 4” finale on June 27th in Miami.
