After knocking out Vitor Belfort in the second round of their middleweight contest at UFC 224 on Saturday, “The Dragon” once again called out Michael Bisping.
Bisping has been contemplating retirement since a first-round stoppage loss to Kelvin Gastelum last November — which followed a title loss to Georges St-Pierre just weeks prior — but Machida said that if “The Count” wants to step away from the sport, he needs to take one more fight, against him, first.
“Michael Bisping, I’m still waiting for you, man. I want to do this fight,” Machida said in his post-fight interview on pay-per-view at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
