The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight division is already lined up with plenty of intriguing bouts to begin 2016, as Anderson Silva and Michael Bisping are set to collide on Feb. 27, 2016 at UFC Fight Night 83 in London, England.
Plus, Vitor Belfort and Ronaldo Souza are booked for a hometown throw down, as the two talented 185-pounders will face off at a yet-to-be named UFC event on May 14 in Brazil (details). That leaves the champion, Luke Rockhold, out in the cold for the foreseeable future, so to speak.
Or, it could mean UFC officials are simply putting the wheels in motion for a potential championship rematch between Rockhold and former division king, Chris Weidman.
