Lorenz Larkin is out of his Bellator 219 matchup with Andrey Koreshkov due to an undisclosed injury, MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi has learned.
Sources say the company will look to find a new opponent to take on Koreshkov in what was scheduled to be the main event of the March 29 event at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, Calif.
Koreshkov (21-3) is looking to rebound from his decision loss to Douglas Lima in the opening round of the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix tournament. He had won his two previous bouts via first-round knockout.
