Former UFC title contender Liz Carmouche will compete in the main event at Bellator 243 on May 29 against undefeated flyweight prospect Mandy Bohm.
Bellator officials announced the pairing on Friday.
Carmouche will be making her debut for the Viacom owned promotion after she was released from her UFC contract following a unanimous decision loss to reigning flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.
Despite the loss, Carmouche being released came as a shot to just about everyone after spending the past seven years as part of the UFC roster.
She also holds wins former UFC champion Jessica Andrade as well as victories against Katlyn Chookagian, Lauren Murphy and Jennifer Maia.
