‘Lionheart’ Diego Sanchez vows to return after KO loss to Al Iaquinta

Things didn’t go his way at UFC Fight Night 108 on Saturday night, but 35-year-old Diego Sanchez isn’t ready to call it a career just yet.

The Ultimate Fighter 1 alum Sanchez was knocked out in the first round against Al Iaquinta in the co-main event in Nashville, marking only the third time in his 37-fight career that he has been finished by TKO/KO.

Yet Sanchez — amid a social media chorus suggesting that he should retire — posted on his Instagram account that he will be back.

The post read that he will “make adjustments” for his return fight.
