A light heavyweight showdown between Klidson Abreu and Jamahal Hill has been agreed upon for UFC Fight Night 173 on May 23.
MMAFighting.com was first to report the matchup. The promotion will hold events on May 9, 13 and 16 at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, but it has not been confirmed if that will also be the venue for UFC Fight Night 173.
Abreu, 27, was scheduled to face Gadzhimurad Antigulov at UFC Kazakhstan on June 13 before the coronavirus outbreak. The Brazilian is 1-2 in the Las Vegas-based promotion and is coming off a split-decision setback against Shamil Gamzatov at UFC Fight Night 163.
