It took 14 years, but Tito Ortiz finally got his revenge.
Ortiz crushed Chuck Liddell via first-round knockout to win the trilogy fight between the two old-school rivals and UFC Hall of Famers on Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. The grudge match headlined Oscar de la Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions’ first foray into mixed martial arts, and likely signaled the end of the road for Liddell and Ortiz, two legends of the game who came out of retirement to compete in the pay-per-view bout.
