Liam McGreary has a date and place for his second light heavyweight title defense. The Bellator light heavyweight champion is scheduled to fight Phil Davis in the main event of Bellator 163.
The news was announced by the promotion on Friday.
McGeary hasn't competed in over a year. His last performance was against Tito Ortiz at Bellator 142, successfully making his first title defense by submitting the former UFC champion with an inverted triangle in the first round. Prior to that, the 33-year-old British fighter seized light heavyweight gold from Emanuel Newton, defeating Newton via unanimous decision at Bellator 134.
