So it’s finally back! The Japanese New Year’s Eve (NYE) shows that ever PRIDE fan has coveted since the initial event: PRIDE Shockwave 2003, which featured Antonio Rogerio (Lil’) Nogueira taking on the legendary Kazushi Sakuraba in the main event. On the undercard were fights like Royce Gracie taking on Hidehiko Yoshida in a battle between Gracie jiu-jitsu and judo, early UFC veterans Don Frye and Gary Goodridge finally meeting in a PRIDE ring, and Rampage Jackson versus Minowaman… to open up the card.
