Leandro Issa might be Brazilian by birth, but he is very much a part of the Asian mixed martial arts (MMA) scene after spending the majority of his career training and fighting in Asia. The bantamweight is a former ONE title challenger who subsequently signed with UFC and is now set to make his pay-per-view (PPV) debut for the promotion on Aug. 1, 2015.
Issa (13-4) faces his toughest test to date when he takes on Iuri Alcantara (31-6-1) in a bantamweight bout which is scheduled for UFC 190 and pits two Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belts against one another.
