Less than a week after 49-0 boxing legend Floyd Mayweather filed a petition with the U.S. Tax Court for an installment agreement for a reported $22.2 million in back taxes, his boxing company Mayweather Promotions was sued in Los Angeles Superior Court for allegedly failing to pay a $260,258.18 balance.
The lawsuit stems from an alleged contract between World Wide Packaging LLC and Bad Medina LLC for “packaging services for certain Bad Medina branded cosmetics.” From approximately May 2014 to March 2017, Bad Medina LLC ordered $883,618.18 in products and services from World Wide Packaging but only made $623,360.
