Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will do without one of its featured featherweight mixed martial arts (MMA) bouts just three days before UFC Fight Night 75 pops off inside Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, this Sat. night (Sept. 26, 2015) on FOX Sports 1.
The official explanation, according to UFC.com, is training injuries to both Norifumi Yamamoto and Matt Hobar.
Yamamoto, 38, is winless under the ZUFFA banner and struggled with injuries over the past few years. "Kid" has just one fight since 2012, a "No Contest" (eye poke) at UFC 184 last February.
