Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was forced to cancel the bantamweight bout between Ian Entwistle and Rob Font, after "Enty" was struck with a late illness. Font will be paid his "show" money and will now be a spectator for the UFC 204 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place tomorrow night (Sat., Oct. 8, 2016) inside Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
UFC announced the change during the UFC 204 weigh ins.
As a result, the lightweight showdown between Marc Diakiese and Lukasz Sajewski will be promoted from the UFC Fight Pass portion of the mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card to fill the vacancy on FOX Sports 1, which gets underway at 8 p.
