Philip De Fries put on a clean performance to claim a one-sided win over light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun in their superfight clash in the main event of KSW 47 in Lodz, Poland on Saturday night.
Although Narkun threatened in vain with his signature guard submissions in the last round, he was largely a passenger as De Fries’ power dictated the pace of the fight, leading to his second defense of the promotion’s heavyweight crown.
Every time the light heavyweight champion looked to exchange, his heavier counterpart would leather him with an overhand right that quickly slowed him down—most notably in the opening round.
