Heavyweight Konstantin Erokhin failed a pre-fight drug test ahead of his loss to Gabriel Gonzaga at “The Ultimate Fighter 22” finale on Dec. 11.
Sherdog.com received drug test results from the Nevada Athletic Commission on Wednesday. “The Ultimate Fighter 22” finale took place at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and saw Frankie Edgar stop Chad Mendes via first-round knockout in the evening’s headliner. Erokhin was the only fighter from the event to fail a drug test.
Erokhin, who lost a lackluster unanimous decision to Gonzaga, tested positive for the anabolic steroid drostanolone, according to a report from MMAFighting.
