Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez will put his newly-minted 155-pound title on the line against current featherweight kingpin and the biggest star in mixed martial arts, Conor McGregor, at tomorrow night’s (Sat., Nov. 12, 2016) epic UFC 205 pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza held inside the historic Madison Square Garden Arena in New York City.

Alvarez (28-4), a former Bellator MMA champion, captured the crown with a violent technical knockout finish over Rafael dos Anjos back in July. McGregor (20-3), meanwhile, got back into the win column with a hard-fought unanimous decision victory over Nate Diaz at UFC 202 last August.
