Knee Injury Forces Magomedov Out of UFC Fight Night Zagreb Bout vs. Gonzaga

Ruslan Magomedov has suffered a knee injury and has been forced to withdraw from a scheduled heavyweight clash against Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC Fight Night in Zagreb on April 10.

The 29-year-old Dagestani fighter revealed the news on his Twitter account Tuesday evening. The UFC has not made an official announcement regarding the injury, so it is unclear if Gonzaga will receive a replacement opponent.

“Sorry to all my fans [and Gabriel Gonzaga],” Magomedov wrote. “I tried my best but had to pull out [because] I hurt my knee [and] can barely walk.
