Muhammed Lawal will be moving up to the heavyweight division to meet Satoshi Ishii in the main event of Bellator 169.
The news was first reported by Severe MMA, and was later confirmed by the promotion on Wednesday.
Lawal will be returning to action after his loss to Phil Davis back in May at Bellator 154. That loss snapped a seven-fight wining streak for the 35-year-old fighter. This won't be Lawal's first time moving up from the light heavyweight to the heavyweight division, as he's previously fought heavyweights Cheick Kongo and Mark Kerr.
