‘King Mo’ injured, out of Bellator 185 co-main event vs. Liam McGeary

Bad news for fans who were looking to the Bellator 185 co-main event, as light heavyweight contender Muhammed Lawal has withdrawn from his October 20th bout against former champ Liam McGeary. MMAjunkie reported on Monday that Lawal suffered an due to an undisclosed injury.

“King Mo” (21-6, 1 NC) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Quinton Jackson back in March. That fight was a rematch of their 2013 matchup, which ended in a close decision win in Rampage’s favor. He was scheduled to fight Ryan Bader at Bellator 180 in June, but an injury prevented him from competing on that card.
