The last few weeks were mostly talks from Khabib Nurmagomedov and his camp about fighting Tony Ferguson next. Most recently, “The Eagle” picked Brooklyn as the venue for April of the coming year, considering his grievances with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
On Monday, Team Khabib made things official from their end. As revealed by manager Ali Abdelaziz through an Instagram post, the undefeated UFC lightweight champion signed a bout agreement to face “El Cucuy” in April of the coming year.
Abdelaziz also revealed that the fight will indeed take place in Brooklyn.
