Reigning UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov doesn’t appear to be sorry for his controversial actions at UFC 229.
In case you missed it, ‘The Eagle’ hopped the cage after his fourth-round submission win over Conor McGregor and got into a scrap with McGregor teammate Dillon Danis. Khabib’s actions triggered an all-out brawl inside the Octagon, similar to that of the Strikeforce Nashville skirmish in 2010.
Speaking to Russia Today in his first interview since the UFC 229 post-fight press conference, Khabib continued his war of words with ‘The Notorious’ and told reporters that you ‘can’t confine an eagle to a cage.
