On Monday afternoon, it was announced that Khabib Nurmagomedov would put his UFC lightweight championship on the line against Tony Ferguson on April 18.
The unnamed event will take place in New York City and will be the main event for a pay-per-view card at Barclays Center. The nearly finalized match was broken by UFC promotional partner ESPN.
The opening odds have been set. Nurmagomedov is sitting at a -250 favorite and Ferguson at +210 underdog according to BetOnline.
Nurmagomedov’s manager also posted a photo of the bout agreement on his Instagram.
