Kevin Ferguson Jr. loses pro MMA debut to Aaron Hamilton at Bellator 165

The long-awaited professional debut of Kevin Ferguson Jr., aka "Baby Slice," didn't exactly go as planned.

Ferguson, the son of late Bellator star Kimbo Slice, lost a back-and-forth battle to Aaron Hamilton, tapping to a second-round guillotine on the undercard of Bellator 165 at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.

Fighting in a 165-pound catchweight contest, Ferguson (0-1) came out fishing for takedowns early and often, securing three in the opening round alone while hunting for ground-and-pound whenever the opportunity presented itself. The biggest moment of the round came when Ferguson landed a nasty illegal knee to the head of his downed opponent, however Hamilton (1-1) recovered without much trouble.
