At UFC 188, welterweight prospect Kelvin Gastelum rebounded from a loss to Tyron Woodley by defeating former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nate Marquardt.
Gastelum defeated Marquardt via TKO (corner stoppage) at the end of round 2.
The Ultimate Fighter 17 winner Gastelum is scheduled to headline UFC Fight Night 78 against late replacement Neil Magny. Gastelum's original opponent was Matt Brown who suffered an ankle injury leading up to the fight.
