Kelvin Gastelum has moved between middleweight and welterweight multiple times over the past two years, and most recently, he has been adamant on fighting consistently in both divisions.
It seemed like after two straight stoppage wins at 185 pounds, Gastelum had finally accepted he performs better at the heavier weight class and should stay put where he is. But after getting tapped out and manhandled by a bigger and stronger Chris Weidman on UFC on FOX 25, he’s ready to drop back down to the welterweight division.
