Karate Combat is set to host its first event since the COVID-19 pandemic removed fans from attending events and disrupted the sports world earlier this year. The company has found a new distribution deal in the form of beIN Sports and it will air its first event later this month. The company has previously hosted events in closed-off locations and will continue doing this for what they call "season 2" of the full contact karate-based promotion.
The first episode is to air on Thursday, Sept. 24 and will be air weekly on Thursdays. No bouts were announced yet but Bas Rutten is said to be providing commentary for the events with special guest announcers joining him.
