Karate Combat closes out its year tonight with one of the most stacked cards in its history, as Karate Combat 37 goes down live from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
The main event is one of the most anticipated matchups in both promotional history and in the history of full-contact karate, as the legendary American Raymond Daniels will battle Azerbaijan’s five-time world karate champion, Rafael Aghayev, for the interim welterweight championship. After a storied kickboxing career, Daniels returned to his original love of karate when he made his promotional debut at Karate Combat 35, where he picked up a dominant decision victory over Franklin Mina.
