Kamaru Usman is putting the pressure on Tyron Woodley.
Usman took to Twitter on Wednesday to post a photo of a signed bout agreement for what is presumably a proposed showdown with the reigning UFC welterweight champion.
“Hope the hand is ready champ,” Usman wrote. “Bout agreement has been signed and I’ll see you soon.”
While Usman has done his part, the matchup is far from a done deal. According to ESPN's Ariel Helwani, Woodley hasn’t signed the contract yet. The welterweight king recently revealed he was awaiting clearance from his doctor but that he hoped to fight in the first quarter of 2019.
