Justin Scoggins will make his 135-pound debut against Pedro Munhoz at UFC Fight Night 100 on Nov. 19.
Promotion officials announced the matchup on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night takes place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo and is headlined by a light heavyweight duel between Alexander Gustafsson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
Scoggins’ first bantamweight foray will come after the fighter missed weight badly ahead of a scheduled showdown against Ian McCall at UFC 201 that was ultimately canceled. Prior to that, the 24-year-old had scored back-to-back 125-pound triumphs over Ray Borg and Josh Sampo.
